Peanut Butter Jelly Time

|
I'm a huge lover of eyeshadows, so you can imagine my excitement when I was sent the Too Faced Peanut Butter and Jelly palette.  Too Faced was the first ever high end brand that I ever purchased, so the whimsical approach to makeup will always hold a soft spot in my heart.

The colours in this palette are fairly atypical.  There are some gorgeous warm browny-orange shades, with a few eccentric purples, and a great mixture of mattes (4) and shimmers (5).  What I think really sets this palette apart is the phenomenal quality of the shadows.  The "extra creamy" colour was the only slight disappointment.  As you can see in the swatch, it was quite patchy and sheer.

As for the rest of the colours, they are so buttery and blend amazingly.  The colours are each very distinct from others in the palette; no two blend together and they don't create a muddied look at all.  They appear on the eyes just as beautifully as they do in swatches.

While I think you can find these colours in other palettes, the quality and ease of use of this palette is exceptional.  It's super light and compact for travelling, and because of the way it is laid out, it makes creating a look very simple.  Just follow one of the horizontal lines and you have a compete look!

If you're near and Ulta store (sadly, this is an Ulta exclusive) I'd highly recommend giving this palette a go.

Until next time,

Happy makeuping,

xoxo K
