"Who wears short shorts, we wear short shorts"

I've never been a shorts fan.  I find they ride up, and I spend more time pulling at them than enjoying wearing them.  But they are convenient.  You don't have to worry about them blowing up when it's windy, and they keep you nice and cool when it's 30 degrees or higher.  I have a tendency to veer towards really colourful patterned shorts (I literally don't have any denim or white shorts anymore).  So needless to say, I fell in love with these J.Crew shorts the other day (and the skirt and the dress in the same print).  Here are some ways to wear shorts now (and remove the jackets for the summer!)

Shorts (25% off with code: PACKME)

Top leftbagbracelet (this site features tons of sustainable products, even though it's not the focus of the site, and has been backed by the likes of Donna Karan and Tim Gunn), stackable ringsshoestop (also available in white),

Top right: clutch (how very Kate Spade!), Puff Sleeve Blazer,  shoes (the brand prides itself on using recycled cork for the platform of the shoes, recycled foam, non-chrome leather and lead/nickel free hardware, as well as regionally sourced materials), top

Bottom leftshoeseyelet teedenim jacket (made from 97% organic cotton, which avoids using the toxic chemicals that traditional cotton manufacturing uses), BYOB Bag (Bring Your Own Bag: It's made of 100% recycled cotton canvas, and 20% of the proceeds are donated to MS research), (also loving this cross-body, proceeds go to Colon Cancer Alliance, something close to my heart)

Bottom rightcardiganshoes, chambray top (made from Tencel, which is derived from cellulose from sustainably harvested eucalyptus trees, and is produced in a closed loop, meaning 99.5% of the water and solvents used are recycled), handbag (very similar to the Hamilton Michael Kors, but is cruelty free and vegan, with part of the proceeds going to the Childhood Cancer Organization)

Until next time,

Happy shopping,

xoxo K
