“I love sleep. My life has the tendency to fall apart when I'm awake, you know?”

|
I'll start off by apologizing for the horrible quality of this picture.  Apparently I've gone too long without using my camera, and was failing miserably, so I switched gears and quickly captured this with my phone.

My routine:

1. I cannot sleep without my eye mask.  I will honestly have the worst night sleep if I don't have it on.  It's probably due to the fact I go to bed quite late, and sleep in until about 11-12 (In my defence, I have mostly all night classes, and my daily schedule is completely askew because of it).

2. The new L'Oreal Pore Vanisher.  You have probably heard me complain about my complexion many times before, one of my largest problems being the crater sized pores on my face.  I've only recently started using this product, but I'm really enjoying it.  It leaves my skin feeling silky smooth, and pores are visibly reduced right after you put it on.  It says it takes an entire month to work, so I'll keep you posted!

3. Kiehls Ultra Facial Cream.  Sadly, this container is empty (the extra harsh winter had me applying it more often than I would have liked, given the high price).  But it's an amazing product, doesn't clog my skin, and doesn't have that greasy residue that many moisturizers have (I'm looking at you, Clinique).

4.  Nivea lip balm.  It's soft, it works, it lasts, and its cheap.

5.  DKNY Be Delicious Skin perfume.  I always put a spritz of perfume on my wrists before I go to bed, this one being my go-to scent.  The mellow, sweet scent really helps me fall asleep, in an aromatherapy kind of way.

6. Bliss hand cream.  I try and stalk up around Christmas, since the gift sets are a great deal (as a normal 2.5 oz tube is $21!).  But it feels so nice, lasts a long time, and has a silky, non-greasy formula.  Plus, it smells amazing!

7. Ear plugs.  I know, it's weird.  But I have Misophonia, and I can't fall asleep unless it's completely quiet (and with living a block from a hospital, my neighbours motorcycle run at 6am, and my dads snoring, it never is).

What do you do at night to help you fall asleep?

Until next time,

Happy sleeping,

xoxo K
